Ingredients


Makes: 8 servings
  • 8 whole chicken legs
  • Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
  • Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 can (28 oz /796 ml) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (28 oz /796 ml) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml)
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) olives, or 1 C (250 ml) quartered artichoke hearts, optional

Preparation


 
  • Season chicken legs with Salt and Pepper.
  • Heat oil in a large pot and brown chicken on both sides. Drain on paper towel and set aside. Drain extra fat from pan.
  • Add tomatoes, Marinara Sauce Mix, crushed chillies,and if desired, olives or artichoke hearts to pan. Return chicken pieces to pan and simmer in tomato sauce for 25 minutes.

Tip: Enjoy over pasta with a green salad.
